Liner Notes

Baroque music has been a fixture in my life since I was very young. Many a morning did I jolt awake to Royal Fireworks or Lully’s Te Deum. When we were kids, my sister & I hated it. But in college I fell hard for Classical Music. It has become a constant in the background of my life. I like to think about the wild soirees that must have gone down at the court of Louis the Sun King: Bacchanal bliss with baroque tunes that now sound quite prim & proper. We need to start having parties like that again.

You get on the subway & get off at Versailles. What would a 300-year-old cognac barrel cracked open on the F train smell like?

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Cognac Reign smell like real alcohol or liquor?

It captures the refined, complex aroma-profile of top-shelf aged cognac emphasizing the warm oak casks, rich dried fruits, and deep caramel resins rather than a sharp, synthetic alcohol scent.
Is Cognac Reign considered a gourmand fragrance?

Yes, it is a sophisticated woody-gourmand. It balances edible, decadent facets like rich caramel and sweet resins with the deep structural dryness of aged oak wood.
How long does Cognac Reign last on the skin?

Due to its heavy concentration of base resins, aged oak, and boozy accords, Cognac Reign offers exceptional longevity, often lasting 8+ hours with a rich, warm projection trail.
